By accessing or using Farang Speaks Thai ("the App", "the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Farang Speaks Thai.

Farang Speaks Thai is a free, web-based Thai language learning application for non-native speakers. The Service runs entirely within your browser with no account creation, login, or user registration required. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
3. AI-Assisted Technology Disclosure
Farang Speaks Thai was built with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and may include AI-generated content such as vocabulary, example sentences, translations, phonetic guidance, and explanations.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or linguistically imprecise material;
- AI features are provided on an "as is" basis without any warranty of accuracy, fitness, or completeness;
- you should not rely on AI-generated content for professional, medical, legal, safety-critical, or any high-stakes purposes;
- we are not responsible for any consequences arising from your reliance on AI-generated outputs within the App.
We disclaim all liability for any loss, harm, misunderstanding, or embarrassment arising from inaccurate or culturally imprecise AI-generated language content, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
4. Eligibility
The Service is available to users of all ages. Users under the age of 13 should have parental or guardian awareness when using the Service. By using the App, you confirm that your use complies with all laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
5. No Data Collection — Your Privacy by Design
Farang Speaks Thai collects no personal data, stores no user information, and operates no user account system. All App functionality runs locally in your browser. No session data, usage data, or personal information is transmitted to or stored by us. Because no data is collected, there is no data to access, correct, port, or delete. This is a deliberate design decision to protect your privacy absolutely.
6. LINE Official Account — Communications
Our sole communication channel is our LINE Official Account ("LINE OA"). We use it to notify followers of App updates, content corrections, changes to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, and other service-related announcements.
Following our LINE OA is entirely voluntary and free. If you follow our LINE OA, LINE Corporation processes your LINE identity data under its own Terms and Privacy Policy — we have no access to or control over your LINE account data.
We will not use our LINE OA for unsolicited commercial messages. You may unfollow at any time through the LINE app. We are not responsible for LINE Corporation's practices, availability, or policies.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from inaccuracies. We make no representations regarding learning outcomes, Thai language proficiency, or the accuracy of any content, AI-generated or otherwise, within the Service.
Language learning outcomes vary between individuals. Your use of this App does not guarantee any level of Thai language fluency, comprehension, or communication ability.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Farang Speaks Thai and its operators, developers, contributors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from:
- your use of or inability to use the Service;
- reliance on AI-generated or any other content within the App;
- inaccurate, incomplete, or culturally imprecise language content;
- interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service;
- any other matter relating to the App.
Our total aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed USD $10.
9. Changes to Terms & Contact
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will announce material changes via our LINE Official Account and update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
